The US warns Israel: Iran is planning to attack you in the next few days
The White House warned of the risk that Iranian ballistic missiles could pound Israel Tuesday. The announcement raised immediate alarm that a full-scale war in the Middle East might be at hand. The US is assisting in efforts to prepare Israel against any threats.
A senior White House official told CNN that Iran is dangerous and any act of provocation from Tehran would get a massive response. After several years of tension, there are reported diplomatic moves and secret discussions going on while both countries appear to be preparing for war.
Israel is preparing for Iran to respond with strikes
According to Israeli intelligence, Tehran might seek to hit three Israeli air bases and a military research facility near Tel Aviv. Israel took the measure after one of its drones was attacked and shot down by Lebanese Hezbollah in southern Beirut on Saturday, an operation that resulted in heightened tension between Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah group and Israel. However, in Israel, an IAF Iron Dome anti-rocket battery also went operational and an Israeli Defense Forces spokesperson reminded Israelis: “We are on peak alert both on the offensive and the defensive.” He also warned Iran that making a move against Israel would have fateful consequences.

Israel-Iran tensions have grown over the past year as Iran-backed groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthi rebels continue to target Israel.
