Vern Miller, a 49-year-old media professional who denies the charges against him and remains steadfast in his support for President Trump. The incident, near a rally in Coachella, brought into question the safety of Miller but he insists that there was no threat to harm an ex-president.

Miller Says He Has Trump’s Back

Vem Miller, who has worked in media for 30 years says he is “100% a Trump supporter” and denies the allegations that someone was trying to kill him. In an expansive interview after his arrest, Miller explained that he declared his weapon to officials at a security checkpoint outside the Trump rally. He notes that he travels with his guns for this reason, as well and in order to protect himself from the death threats he’s been receiving—but says he has never used them.

Miller insisted, “I’ve literally never even shot a gun in my life,” saying he started carrying firearms for his safety purposes after being threatened during media projects which look to shine the light on censorship. Miller, a TV production and music video background having recently debuted the America Happens Network to counter what he says is media bias.

Speculation Follows Arrest Over Past Threats

Speculation surrounding the incident surfaced when Miller was arrested on gun charges earlier this month, following two other assassination attempts against Trump as far back as July. But Miller was released a day later on $5,000 bail: he faces no federal charges to this point. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said incorrect paperwork was recovered with Miller, but he says his currently owned IDs and credentials are real.

The miller is denying the claims of fake docs.

When asked about the several licenses and passports recovered in his car, he said that they were not forgeries. He said that as an Armenian, he carries different papers to help him travel safely in some countries. “None of those are fake,” Miller said, explaining that he needs several forms of identification because it can be dangerous to acknowledge his Armenian heritage in some areas where there have been historical threats against Armenians.

Miller, however, denies any association with these “sovereign citizens” or other far-right groups.

Sheriff Bianco also hinted that Miller may be a part of the “sovereign citizens” movement, an identity which he has been vocal in rejecting. “Ridiculous,” he said, denying that the movement even exists and shrugging off any insinuation of an association with anti-government groups.

Miller said: ‘I am not a member of any far right or anti government groups. They say I’m a part of these groups but they have given no names because the such organizations do not exist.

My Political Evolution

Miller explained his political evolution — growing up a Democrat and an Obama supporter, hoping for Change. He then swung right, identifying as a Republican who embraced certain libertarian ideas. By 2018 [Just] was all-in on Trump, a man he said is “literally freedom of speech in the flesh. Miller also admitted to being a former Bernie Sanders supporter but changed his mind when “he became aware of the implications of socialism.”

Police Making Sure Rallies Went Safely

Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said the incident posed no danger to Trump or rally participants. A statement from Trump’s team added that “we thank law enforcement for quickly intervening and securing the scene.” We are monitoring the situation, collecting more facts.
